An Instagram competition consisting of a bucketlist with 100 activities. The competition was about clearing as many activities as possible. When you finished an activity you took a picture and uploaded to Instagram with hashtag "#100saker" including the activity's bucket list item number. All pictures that were hashtagged were collected and displayed in a gallery on the campaign site.
The campaign recieved over 300,000 likes and the spread was enormous.
Our job with this campaign was to collect pictures tagged with "#100saker" via Instagram's API and connect them with a user. Thanks to Instagram's real-time API we could structure a local database that greatly improved the performance and user experience.
